This story grabbed my attention from the first page and continued to do so to the very last page. Joe ( A famous writer) and Meg ( a very famous & gifted Photographer) who hadn't known a thing about each other at all until they met at the funeral services that were held for Anna, were named to carry on the legacy.Years ago Anna had started a foundation and a village for gifted artist from all over the world. Joe and Meg were both part of that village, although they were there 6 years apart from one another. The village was for artists from all walks of life and they all had very different sorts of special talented gifts. Some were musically inclined, then there were the authors, the painter's, the sculptor's, the photographers, and then there were also the singers and dancers.
But Joe and Meg were the ones that had really captured Anna's heart. So when she realized that her time on earth was coming soon, she chose these two to be the ones to carry on her legacy of the "Artists Village" that she had built over the years. She had also left them joint ownership of both the mansion she had lived in, as well as the Artist's Village itself.
While trying to finish the work Anna had left behind, these two fall deeply in love with one another in the process.

Loved this book....Great development of all the characters, and it kept my attention ALL the way through! One of those books that I stayed up WAAAAY too late reading...just had to know what was going to happen next! Definitely have to read more of Barbara Bretton's books!
Within just the first few pages I knew this book was going to be amazing. The story line was great! It was such an easy read and an enjoyable one at that. There was nothing unrealistic and it made the book feel more real. Just a great read and I hope you take the time to read it as well!!

If you're a hopeless romantic looking for a beautifully written love story this is a must read. The characters are real and you can believe on the storyline.
This is one of my favorite books. I'll come back to read it over and over again. I'll definitely recommend this book to my friends. Please keep writing these feel good, happy ending stories. When I'm down these really pick me up!!!!
I truly did not figure this plot out until the author revealed it in the book. Normally I have them figured out by the 2nd chapter. Although you know there is more to the story than meets the eye, you are still enveloped in the two characters and thier journey. Truly a great book all the way around with just enough ups and downs to keep you in suspense.
WARNING very harsh language
Two people meet and are bound together by the death of a mutually loved benefactor. Two stubborn people from different backgrounds and with different perspectives, yet each of them finds the other to be attractive and compelling, inside and out. Once again, I didn't care for the sex scene, but the rest was well written and moving.
I loved this story. Our hero writes romance novels as a woman. Mainly because men writers don't sell. I am guilty of that sin myself. I just don't figure men really get it!! However, this guy is something else. He meets the love of his life and they set out to work their way through their issues. A good story, good characters, no bad guys (thank goodness) and a happy ending. My favorite kind of story. I highly recommend this very entertaining read. I finished in one day. Not a short story, I just don't do much but read.
